# Governance

#### Governance changes will mainly affect the long term development of Pear, they include:

* Adding new blockchain ecosystem that should be supported by Pear;
* Resource allocation that will dictate the future of Pear;
* Blockchain infrastructure that should be adopted;
  * Allocating funds for a specific type of research that will ultimately benefit the Pear marketplace in the future;
  * Exploration of new ecosystems and token economies which should have a positive impact for all PEX holders;
* PEX burning mechanisms;
* DAO treasury funding mechanisms.

Governance proposals are not limited to the above mechanisms, more mechanisms can be explored by Pear DAO.
